Hi again everyone! It's been so long (little over a year!) since I last posted. A lot has happened the past year and had to stabilize my life a little so I apologize for not keeping up with my blog (∩︵∩). There is good news, however! I am confident to say that I will make regular scheduled posts for all my otakus and weaboos out there. Even though I have not been posting this past year, I am still an otaku at heart and you bet that I still have been watching all the animes out there! Moreso now that Prime Video upped their game and pushed out high quality animes that can compete with the streaming services such as Crunchyroll and Funimation so there will be tons of content to pull from and give you guys some reviews of the animes I have watched this past year. I am looking to post every Friday around 11 am PDT
If you guys are new to my blog, or forgot what kind of content I create, I tend to write about the more obscure animes that usually fly under the radar. My reasoning behind this is that there are tons of sites that cover all of the popular animes (ie BNHA, Tokyo Ghoul) and I am sure that many of your friends talk about those animes as well. In this blog, I try to showcase the smaller animes that some of you guys may have not heard of or on the fence whether you should pick it up or not. The genres vary but I noticed that I mainly review slice of life animes since those are the ones that tend to be rich in story and character development. Maybe later down the line I'll have some posts of popular animes as the new episodes come out, but I currently focus on reviewing animes that are completed or have full seasons completed. I look forward to talking to you otakuboos (weakus?) again about all things anime and manga! Stay weird my friends and see you guys this Friday!

Studios: Doga Kobo Episodes: 13 Hello my fellow Otakus and welcome back to another review! This week we will take a look at the advancement of robotics and the dynamics they have with human beings in Plastic Memories. This anime is a pretty unique anime in that it isn't your conventional romance. If you guys have watched the movie Blade Runner with young Harrison Ford, this anime kinda follows the same story in that it asks the question what makes a robot different than a human being despite being self-aware and has every emotion a human does. It has an interesting development and shows you multiple sides of this problem which all have valid points. Let's go ahead and see if love can really be felt between a human and an AI! Studios: Brain's Base Episodes: 12 Hello again Otakus! Glad you all can make it back! This week we will lighten things up and look at a super QT anime called Isshuukan Friends (One Week Friends). This anime is basically a romance anime that's disguised as an anime all about friendship. The main lead chases after a girl and basically asks to be friends with her and that's how the story starts. It's a different type of anime than the previous ones we have talked about so I feel like it will be fresh to change tempos once in a while. This is a light-hearted anime that is sweet and make you all bubbly inside. Let's go ahead and jump into what One Week Friends is all about! Aired: October 14, 2011 - March 23, 2012
Studios: Production I.G Episodes: 22 Welcome back Otakus! I want to apologize for not making a post last week, but there just had things to be done and I attended a wedding away from home. Anyways, this week we will be talking about, in my opinion, a pretty underrated anime, Guilty Crown. Some of you guys have watched this anime, but I have met few people that had, so I felt like its a good idea to put more exposure on this anime. One thing I didn't notice about this anime that it has a R rating which I found kinda cool and understand why it was. This anime is jam packed with action and a good amount of drama to keep you watching in between fight scenes. So without further ado, let's go talk about Guilty Crown! Aired: October 5, 2007 - March 28, 2008 (After Story: October 3, 2008 - March 27, 2009)
Studios: Kyoto Animation Episodes: 23 (47 with After Story) Hello again Otakus! Are you ready for the feels this week? Well I warned you guys last week so you had one whole week to prepare yourselves (ц`ω´ц*) This week we will be talking about Clannad and Clannad: After Story. These two animes are based off of a visual novel created by Key in 2004 and has been adapted to many medias including mangas, books, a film, and drama CDs. I know many of you have heard about this anime as being the saddest animes and haven't wanted to watch it because of this, but I assure you that it has an incredible story. Even if you don't want to watch it, come and read on to get a better understanding why people think it's so sad. So get those tissues ready and hear about THE saddest anime I have ever watched. Aired: April 17, 2005 - April 2, 2006
Studios: Bones Episodes: 50 Welcome back Otakus to another anime post! I decided to make my posts about the less known animes as I'm pretty sure you all have heard about a word or two from the more popular ones like Sword Art Online or Tokyo Ghoul. This week we will be looking at Eureka Seven, a mecha fantasy. Unlike the Gundam series or Code Geas, the mechas in this anime have a different role in the story other than being used as weapons. I will try to keep it spoiler free as much as possible because I seriously want you guys to watch this anime. So without further ado, let's see what this anime is all about! Released: August 26, 2016 (Japan) April 7, 2017 (US; in select theaters) Directed by: Makoto Shinkai Produced by: CoMix Wave Films Hello and welcome to my first anime post! What better way to kick things off than reviewing one of the most acclaimed anime films since Spirited Away back in 2001? If you were unable to watch it and want to avoid spoilers, I suggest you do not click the "Read More" button and leave right now!
. . . . . Okay seriously this is your last chance. Turn back if you don't want to get spoilers 〴⋋_⋌〵 |
